Glossier. My first impressions

Glossier Flatlay

Only a couple of days ago I have placed my very first order on Glossier. I had to try the products out by myself, since I have heard many good things about them and of course, because I am a beauty and skincare junky.

But before I start I have something for you – you can get 10% of your first order by using this link or simply copy paste this link into your browser “” – happy shopping =)

My first impressions on Glossier.

First of all: I love the packaging all the products came in. They arrived in the iconic pink pouch that really looks so cool as people tell. Everything was safe in the pouch and nothing got damaged or broke during the postal transport.

Now onto the 4 products I picked

Cloud paint in the shade “Beam

Glossier Cloud paint beam

As you can see “Beam” is a peach tone. It is very subtle on the skin and looks super natural on my fair skin tone. It makes me look a little bit more tanned – in a good way, not in a blotchy way. I am super impressed with the formula of these, they are so light weight and easy to apply on the skin. I highly recommend using your fingers to apply and blend them, since a beautyblender eats almost all the product up. That would be a waste since the product only contains 10ml.

Cloud paint in the shade “Puff

Glossier Cloud Paint Puff

“Puff” is a pink tone and I love it. It’s the perfect “I just came out of the gym” tone. It lets your skin look super healthy too and again, it’s perfect for fair skin like I have. But I bet all the Cloud Paints look amazing on all skin tones. The formula of this one is the same as “Beam” has. Therefore it’s very creamy and light weight, amazing for my skin which is more on the dry side on my cheeks.  The cloud paints are those products that you just throw in your bag and you can quickly touch up your skin at all time. It just gives back the perfect amount of color.

“Skin first, makeup second”

Stretch concealer in the shade “Light

One of those products that don’t hide the natural skin. If you expected a heavy weight concealer that covers your dark circles, blemishes and break outs heavily – you are wrong. This one definitely cancels the dark tones in your undereyes out, but you will still see your skin. As well when you cover a breakout, you will still see the texture of it, but I covers the redness. This product is buildable, but don’t apply too much since it will look cakey. First impressions are that I definitely like this concealer since it’s very hydrating and it has a very good coverage for my liking.

and the Balm Dotcom in “Mint

I love this. I love “Mint”. It’s a hydrating balm that you can apply to all the dry spots on your body so you can use it on your lips, cuticles, dry elbows,… Since this balm is very thick I don’t have to apply it many times. It just stays.

After about 2 months of using the products I will write a full review on them here on my blog.

Have you already made any experience with Glossier? Tell me below in the comments, I’d love to have a chat with you =)
